Tips to help you manage your tasks
You have dreams and goals to reach a desired destination.
You know exactly what your purpose is.
But you can’t seem to find time and get around to making it a reality.
You have to learn to manage your tasks on a
day to day basis and take control of your time.
To some, 2020 was not a great year. But for many others, 2020 was spent on being productive. Including me, 2020 helped me take up new courses, build new skills and become a better visionary.
Now that we are into 2021, we have new goals for the year, I know that mine are sky tall. But are still many of us who are overwhelmed with how we are going to get things done, get our tasks completed during this extended pandemic,
Here are some quick tips that will help you instantly manage your tasks.
- Make a list of five things you want to do tomorrow.
- From that, choose the top three important tasks that’s a priority for you.
- Take the most challenging task, stay with it, and complete it, and then go after task number two.
I learned this from Brian Tracy’s Eat That Frog, and I highly recommend this book. You may not have been able to complete all the five things that you listed, but you will be able to complete your top three priority things. Focus on that and that will help you move into your desired destination. Stay focus instead of multitasking.
I used to think that multitasking was the way to success. It is not. It is the way to get more frustrated.
But by staying focused and sticking to what you want to do and completing it, is the way to success.
Remember to time yourself, have a deadline and create an urgency.
eg: Clean your house as if you have guest coming over, it will urge you to tidy up the house.
So, create urgency to push you forward. When you do, you will be completely focused and everything you do, will be with the spirit of excellence.
And once your task are done, you can chase after your hobbies, goals, and dreams that have been taking the back seat because of poor time management.
Make this 2021 the best year yet, and if you haven’t started, START NOW. It’s never to late.
When 2021 ends, how do you want to look back on the year? Was it the same as 2020? Or, was it exhilarating? Were you able to climb to new heights and make new skills?
Make 2021 the best year you’ve ever had, by managing you time.
Manage your time, and in turn, you are paving your own desired path.
